Product Description

Equipped with one isolation transformer (T1) and two connectors (J1, J2), the IS200CPFXG1AAA is a Phase Leg Flash Protection Board produced by General Electric. The primary function of the IS200CPFXG1AAA board is to isolate the power supply associated with the IS200PICH Phase Interface and Control Board. There is a single CPFX board per phase leg and a single IS200 Control Power Flash Protection Board per bridge. Several outputs from the Control Power Flash Protection Board connect to each individual Phase Leg Flash Protection Board. When the CPFX board is operating with the PICH board, it will isolate the power of a single phase leg from the other phase legs.

The Phase Leg Flash Protection Board (CPFX) does not contain any LED indicators, testpoints, fuses, or user adjustable hardware. It does have two plug connectors and flying leads from the transformer to the CPFX board. Additionally, it connects to the CPFP board and the PICH board. More information on each CPFX Board Connector can be located in the GEI-100414 user manual; for example, the J2-1 Pin is a high frequency power supply input from the PICH board.

The CPFX board was designed to not only function as a Phase Leg Flash Protection Board for the Mark VI Series, but also for other Innovation Series Drives (which are also produced by General Electric).
