Product Description

The IS200BPIRG1AAA is a PCB component for the Mark VI Speedtronic gas/steam management system from GE. The MKVI is designed on thirty years of research and development from GE, and can be used in a variety of applications.

The IS200BPIRG1AAA functions as a Digital Interface Board within the MKVI system. This board is used in Innovation Medium Voltage/GP Type H drives. The IS200BPIRG1AAA provides a 15V to 5V bus interface (digital) between the BICR Bridge Interface Board and the FOHB Fiber-Optic Hub Board. Phase reference analog signals and bridge cell temperatures also pass through this board.

The IS200BPIRG1AAA includes two board connectors. The first is P1, located along the back edge of the board, which is a backplane connector. It is important to note the backplane connector on this board may need a custom extender board to access individual pin signals. The other connector is a 50-pin ribbon connector marked PLO. This connects the FOHB to the BPIR board.

The IS200BPIRG1AAA includes a 1024-bit memory chip. This includes revision information and board identification information. It is accessed through a data line on the P1 connector. The board also has four TP test points. These are labeled REF A, REF B, REF C, and ACOM. The board has a single relay, several resistors, a transistor, and six integrated circuits.

The IS200BPIRG1AAA should be treated as a static-sensitive board. AX Control will ship the board protected by an antistatic bag. Technicians should use a grounding strap when unpacking, installing, or handling this board.

The Mark VI BPIR board is built with a single ribbon cable receptacle, four TP test points, and one backplane connector. This connector may require a custom extender board in order to access individual pin signals. The board does not have any sort of adjustable devices, LED indicators, or fuses.
