Product Description

The IS200BPIAG1AEB is a Drive Bridge Personality Interface Card manufactured by General Electric for their Mark VI series. The MKVI is one of the most recent steam/gas heavy-duty turbine management systems in the Speedtronic line released by GE. The MKVI offers complete control, protection, and monitoring of heavy-duty turbine systems, and is adaptable and scalable for the use in a variety of applications. The MKVI is based around a 13- or 21- slot VME card rack Control Module.

The IS200BPIAG1AEB provides a connection between the control and power electronics of an IGBT ac drive. The IS200BPIAG1AEB is designed with seven board connectors. This includes its primary P1 connector that connects into the rack system and handles a variety of signals, including gate drive and shunt fault signals, application data from the BPIA board, and some bridge control connections. The board has six other male vertical pin connectors (APL, BPL, CPL, AAPL, BAPL, CAPL,) that provide connections to the phase A/B/C IGBTs.

The IS200BPIAG1AEB has three transformers, six transistors, and nine resistor network arrays. It also has a 1024-bit memory device to hold revision and board information.

The IS200BPIAG1AEB has a faceplate. This helps to identify the board within the rack, and also is marked with the board location. If the board is plugged into the wrong slot it may become damaged. Please follow installation guidelines as written in manuals or data sheets.

The IS200BPIAG1AEB is a static-sensitive board. AX Control will ship this board in an antistatic bag to protect the board from damage during transit. Please follow all handling precautions as recommended by the manufacturer. If these are unavailable to you, they may be found within GE publication GEI-100265.

This board mounts within a VME type rack. The front faceplate is marked with identifying information to make it easier to identify this component and ensure it is installed in its proper location. Be aware that VME boards must be installed in their proper rack location. If they are installed in the wrong location they can incur damage. --AX Control Tech Team
