Product Description

The IS215ACLIH1AM is a printed circuit board designed as a component within GE’s Mark VI turbine control system. This system is used to control and manage industrial gas and steam turbines of various sizes and complexity.

The IS215ACLIH1AM is one of several Application Control Layer Modules for the Mark VI available in AX Control’s stock. This board uses a microprocessor-based controller and communication networks like ISBus and Ethernet to perform several duties for the Mark VI. This versatile board can be used with either the EX2100 exciter or with a standard Innovation series Drive.

The IS215ACLIH1AM is fronted by a connected faceplate. This includes two ISBus ports that each have two LED indicators (one yellow and one green), a reset switch, two COM ports, eight status LEDs, an Ethernet port, and four additional LED indicators. The faceplate also includes two set screws that will help the user lock the module securely in place after it has been installed.

The IS215ACLIH1AM has three jumper switches on its surface that can be adjusted. The board has a p1 connector that is only used during test or development. The IS215ACLIH1AM board is designed to work in conjunction with GE’s Control System Toolbox software. This can be used to change and configure runtime settings on the IS215ACLIH1AM. Operating system upgrades are achieved through the serial loader.

Be aware that ACLI versions of this module are not used by exciter systems. However, this version provides two ISBus channels. With these, the module can operate as either an ISBus slave or ISBus master. Configuration occurs within software. --AX Control Tech Team.
