Product Description

The IS210BPPCH1ACA is an I/O pack processor card from General Electric.  This Speedtronic component is designed for use with the Mark VIe control platform and contains newer components with enhanced capabilities as compared to older BPPB I/O packs.    Please note that PBBC processor packs for the Mark VIeS system will end with S1B; this component is not compatible with the Mark VIeS system. 

The IS210BPPCH1ACA board is designed for use with TMR or Dual terminal boards.  It can be mixed with and used with older BPPB components.   Auto-reconfiguration when exchanging a BPPB for a BPPC component is typically supported.  

The IS210BPPCH1ACA, like other BPPC components, supports branding.  Branding is a process that happens within the ToolboxST application and allows the user to mark a particular set of code as acceptable for a specific purpose.   This type of configuration is part of a SIF (safety instrumented functions) and must be certified per IEC standard 61511 for functional safety before use. 

This is a small-ish board with two ports located on one board edge.  The unit has several integrated circuits, along with transistors, resistors, capacitors, chokes, and diodes. The board also includes a fuse, several jumpers, and tp test points.  This unit uses SMT and has components on both board sides.   Each component on the board is marked with a reference designator for simpler identification.   Factory drilled holes are ringed with conductive material.   For additional information about this component, refer to associated manuals and user guides from General Electric.  These will provide you with instructions for installing and maintaining this equipment.
