Product Description

The IS210BPPCH1AC from General Electric functions within the Mark VIe Speedtronic system as an I/O Pack Processor Board for the UCPA. This Speedtronic component has newer components and offers upgraded capabilities in comparison to the previously used BPPB input and output packs. This I/O pack is designed for use with Mark VIe systems. If you require I/O packs for a Mark VIeS system, look for BPPCS1 boards instead of BPPCH1. 

The IS210BPPCH1AC circuit board can be used within either Dual or TMR (triple modular redundant) systems.  Its flexibility allows use with other BPPC packs or with older BPPB components. Auto Reconfiguration from BPPB to BPPC is typically supported except in certain circumstances. 

Some of the main features of the IS210BPPCH1AC board are the reset circuits with the hardware watchdog timer as well as status indication LEDs. There are two primary LED color flashes that work with this model which are green and red ATTN LED. 

The IS210BPPCH1AC is designed to support branding. This is a ToolboxST application process that allows users to mark sets of code as being acceptable and necessary for specific purposes. 

The Mark VIe Speedtronic system offers a flexible platform with high-speed I/O that can be used for Simplex, Dual, or TMR configurations. It works in conjunction with GE’s ControlST Software Suite, which includes its proprietary ToolboxST application. Refer to GE manuals for additional information about this board as well as information about the associated control system, its controllers, switches, IONet, and other architecture points.

Many I/O packs within the Mark VIe have naturally migrated from BPPB I/O to BPPC. BPPC I/O packs for the Mark VIe require ControlST V04.04 (minimum) and I/O upgrade V05.01. Minimum firmware for any particular BPPC-based I/O can be found in the Compatibility subsections of GEH-6721 Vol III. --AX Control Tech Team.
