Product Description

The IS200VCMIH2BCC is a GE Mark VI printed circuit board.  This is a Mark VI component. The Mark VI is a steam and gas turbine management system that was released by General Electric as part of the ‘Speedtronic’ line.  The Speedtronic line has been used in its various iterations for turbine management since the 1960s. The Mark VI meets or exceeds many safety and quality assurance standards, including ISO-9000-3 Quality Management and Quality Assurance Standards, Pt 3: Guidelines for the Application of ISO-9001 to Development Supply & Maintenance of Software.  

The IS200VCMIH2BCC is designed to mount in slot one of the Central Control Module.  It functions as an internal communications control card that allows I/O cards within the rack or within other Control or Protection Modules to communicate with each other.

The IS200VCMIH2BCC has a narrow front faceplate with many components mounted into its surface.  This includes a 9-pin serial port, three DIN connectors (IONet1, IONet2, and IONet3,) a reset switch, and twenty LED indicators.  The LEDs are placed on the board in sets of three, eight, six, and three. All components are labeled.

The IS200VCMIH2BCC has multiple connector components, including two backplanes, two vertical pin connectors, and several conductive trace connectors. There are three transformers on the board, and over fifty integrated circuits, including FPGA (field programmable gate arrays.) The board has over twenty-five inductor beads located in several lines on the board surface.  The board has capacitors, resistors, and diodes. The board uses both surfaces (front and back) for component placement.
