Product Description

The IS200VCMIH2BCB is a GE circuit board that was created as part of General Electric’s Mark VI SPEEDTRONIC system for the management of steam/gas turbine systems.   The Speedtronic line was begun in the 1960s with the release of the MKI and continued through the 2000s with the release of the Mark VI and the Mark VIe.  Speedtronic systems are considered “whole system” turbine management solutions, and later versions like the Mark VI can be designed in either Simplex or Triple-redundant form to meet the requirements of the associated system. 

The IS200VCMIH2BCB is used for internal communication of I/O cards within the central control module.  The board is mounted in slot one of this module. 

The IS200VCMIH2BCB is built with an attached front faceplate.  The faceplate is marked with the board number (located on the bottom set screw) and the GE logo.   The board also has three IONet connectors, a reset switch, a 9-pin (male) serial port, and LED indicators placed on the board in groups depending on their use.  These LEDs are labeled. 

The  IS200VCMIH2BCB is a two-sided board with many mounted components.  This includes integrated circuits (including FPGAs,) as well as vertical pin connectors and backplanes, conductive trace connectors, transistors, capacitors, diode, and over 400 resistors.
