Product Description
The IS200SCNVG1ADC is an SCR-Diode Converter Interface Board created by General Electric as part of the Mark VI Speedtronic series. The part is used within stand-alone 1000 and 1800 amp Innovation Series SCR-Diode Converters as a control to bridge interface. The board cannot be used to drive parallel SCRs from the same board, but it can be used for 6-pulse sources driving 3 SCRs per board.
There are a number of circuits that the IS200SCNVG1ADC model has; some of the circuits included are the following:
-
SCR gate driving (3)
-
Input current sensing (3)
-
Line-to-line voltage feedback (2)
-
Dc link voltage feedback (1)
-
DB IGBT VCE feedback (1)
-
Dynamic braking IGBT gate driver (1)
The IS200SCNVG1ADC is designed to mount within Slot #6 of the Innovation rack. It connects to J15 of the CABP board. The SCNV has an add-only memory device that includes its id and revision information. This information can be accessed through the P1 connector via the BRDID data line.
The power supply of this model is received Vdc power through its P1 connector. The board also receives secondary power from its four transformers.
The IS200SCNVG1ADC has no adjustable hardware like fuses or LED indicators. The four test points located on the board are for development use and should not be accessed by the user due to the high voltage present on the board. This model is equipped with a 128-pin P1 backplane that allows interfacing with other boards. It also has six plug connectors that interface with current shunts, dc links, and gate drivers.
