Product Description
The IS200EDFFH3AAA is a PCB (printed circuit board) component that was originally manufactured and distributed by General Electric as part of the EX2100 Mark VI excitation control. The Mark VI Turbine control system was one of the last of the Speedtronic control systems distributed by GE for safeguarding and controlling gas/hydro/steam turbines. While these components are no longer available through the OEM, they are typically in stock and ready to ship to you from AX Control.
The IS200EDFFH3AAA is a small rectangular board that functions as a DC-fanned feedback board. This board works together with the EAUX control interface card, connected together via high-speed fiber-optic connections. The EDFF board is used for the measurement of field currents, and can also be used for the measurement of field voltage in the SCR bridge. Secondarily, the board can be used to scale or convert field current and voltage at the regulator output to turn it into a usable frequency feedback signal.
The IS200EDFFH3AAA can only be used with and is only compatible with simplex systems. This board will not work with triple modular redundant setups. Please refer to a similarly named H1 board if you are running a TMR system. Similarly named H2 boards are required for dual systems.
The IS200EDFFH3AAA is drilled in each corner for mounting. It includes fiber optic connectors as well as vertical connectors and standoffs. The board is marked with the GE logo, with its part number, and with several codes.
