About the IS200EDFFH1A

The IS200EDFFH1A board is one of the many I/O terminal boards that is part of the EX2100e series produced by General Electric. The primary function of the EX2100e DC Fanned Feedback (EDFF) board is to measure voltages and field currents at the SCR bridge, and well then send the signals to the EX2100e Excitation Control Auxiliary Interface (EAUX). During operation, this board will need a power supply of twenty-eight volts of direct current.

The IS200EDFFH1A board has a fiber-optic ink which provides voltage isolation between the EAUX and EDFF boards, as well as high-noise immunity. During operation the EDFF board with scale and convert field voltages and currents at the regulator/exciter output into frequency feedback signals. This board is comprised of V-F (voltage-to-frequency) converter circuits. One of the circuits is used for field voltage feedback and the extra is used for field current feedback.

The IS200EDFFH1A board is part of the High Voltage Interface within the EX2100e series. When using this board please refer to the GEH-6781L EX2100e Excitation Control Users Guide for information. The EDFF board does have a part-specific manual labeled GEI-100770 but it is rather difficult to find online which is why we recommend using the GEH-6781 manual with the EDFF board.

Reviews For IS200EDFFH1A

Internal Review
(5.0)

The IS200EDFFH1A is an Exciter DC Fanned Feedback Board that is a critical part of a GE EX2100 Excitation Control System. While the IS200EDFFH1A rarely faults, errors, or becomes defective, keeping a stockroom backup is always advisable to avoid downtime. The IS200EDFFH1A requires a jumper configuration during installation to match the application specific setting but the rest of the process is not complicated or in-depth. We rate the IS200EDFFH1A as a 5 star board for its design, reliability, and ease of installation. - AX Control Technician
