Product Description

General Electric’s IS200EDFFH2A model was produced as part of the EX2100e series. The EX2100e series is mostly the same as the EX2100 series, but the ‘e’ in the EX2100e series indicates more advanced technology. There are three different groups of the EDFF model and each group has a different system, as an H2 group model, this unit operates as a dual system. There are eight selector settings on the EDFF board that are used to scale bridge voltages depending on the bridge application. 

The IS200EDFFH2A can measure field currents and is measured using a shunt within the dc field circuit. The fiber-optic link connected between the EUAX and EDFF board is used to provide voltage isolation between the two boards and is also used to help with high-noise immunity. The EDFF model is made up of two V-F (voltage-to-frequency) converter circuits, which are used for field current and field voltage feedback, and can be used for up to three redundant control sections. 

Model IS200EDFFH2A is used as an Exciter Internal Input-Output board to supply feedback within the EX2100e series.
