The IS215PMVDH1A model, which is considered a Migration I/O Type Termination Board is part of the Mark VI Series and was once produced by General Electric but is very difficult to find in new or used surplus. The PMVD module can be used with control module applications as well as in triple modular redundant or simplex architecture types. Please note that if used with simplex architecture only a control module will be used.
The IS215PMVDH1A board can be used with a number of different terminal board types in the Mark VI system such as the DTBD, DTBB, DTBA, and DTBC boards. During the operation of this board, there are two main input and output types which are contact inputs and relay contact outputs. For each input and output type, there is a specific number associated with each input and output type, in relation to the relay contact outputs there are sixty outputs, whereas there are only ninety-six contact inputs. An interface board is also typically required during the operation of the PMVD board which is a TCRA board.
This model is labeled as a termination box type. It should be noted that there are several group variations of the PMVD model, this model is an H1A variation and cannot be removed.
