Product Description

The General Electric IS215GBIAH1A Auxiliary Genius Bus Interface Module (GBIA) is an I/O block on the Genius bus, providing drive and controller integration. The GBIA module provides an integer or floating-point variable map. The GBIA module is made up of an IS200BLIG LAN Interface-Genius Board (BLIG) and an IC660ELB912 Network Interface Board. The module connects to the IS200CABP Cable Assembly Backplane Board (CABP) in the drive board rack. All of these boards can be found separately on our site.

Two LED indicators, OK and COMM OK, are located on the module’s faceplate and provide visual indications of the module and Genius bus communications status. A third LED is located on the module’s surface and indicates the power supply status. This LED lights continuously when there are no known Genius I/O faults. If there is a fault, this LED flashes a fault code. The green COMM OK LED provides Genius bus communications status information.

More information about the IS215GBIAH1A installation and operation can be found using GE publications which can be found on our site. These publications will also provide the user with important safety information. Only well-trained employees should maintain this equipment.

Reviews For IS215GBIAH1A

Internal Review
(5.0)

As this board is made up of an IS200BLIG Module and an IC660ELB912 Network Interface Board, we highly recommend this unit as your direct replacement for faulty equipment. As the most common cause of faults in this unit are voltage spikes, it typically affects both individual components. We have found that entire module replacements will directly cause less equipment downtime for your business. - AX Control Tech Team
