Product Description

The IS200VTCCH1BBB model is a Thermocouple Input board. This card is used with general-purpose inputs and outputs which provide interfacing of up to twenty-four thermocouples. The twenty-four thermocouple inputs used with this board are S, K, T, J, or E inputs. Please note that these models can be either grounded or ungrounded. When performing the interface there are two different termination board types, barrier-type or box-type; it will interface to a singular barrier-type termination board or two box-type termination boards. If the VTCC card is being used with the Backup Protection Module a potential of up to nine more thermocouples can be provided. 

The main components on the faceplate of the IS200VTCCH1BBB card are two ports labeled parallel or serial. At the top of the card, there are three LEDs which are labeled run, fail and status. Each of the LEDs has a different color to correspond with the LED. The typical colors of the LEDs are red, yellow, and green. The status LED is yellow, the run LED is green, and the fail LED will be red. 

The IS200VTCCH1BBB board has the ability to be used with a Simplex DIN-Rail Mounted Terminal Board. The DIN Euro Size Terminal Board associated with the VTCC is the DTTC. The DTTC model has twelve points and used thermocouple temperature inputs with a single cold junction reference when being used with this board. If performing a linearization function for the individual thermocouples it will be done through the software on the VTCC model.
