Product Description
The IS200VAICH1A is a circuit board from General Electric. This board functions within the Mark VI turbine control system as a VME Analog Input board. This system was one of the last Speedtronic management systems, and one of the most complex. The system could be set up as either a TMR (triple modular redundant) system or as a Simplex system. It is important to note this and other Mark VI components are no longer made or supposed by General Electric and are now in legacy status. However, AX Control maintains on-hand stock of many of these boards so we can more quickly fulfill your orders. We suggest purchasing an exact copy of your current board to ensure compatibility.
The IS200VAICH1A works in conjunction with a number of other control boards. This includes the VVIB, VTUR, VTCC, and VGEN boards. Most of these boards are single-width VME boards that each use a single digital signal processor. The boards communicate with each other through backplane connectors located on the rear board edge. These usually connect via a 37-pin cable. Each board in the system has a separate identity which makes communication between boards and with the central processing unit possible.
The IS200VAICH1A includes a front faceplate with three embedded LEDs. The board has multiple ICs including processor chips. Other components include mounted transistors, capacitors, and diodes. These components will have reference designations and may also carry original part numbers from their individual manufacturers.
For specifics on how to install or maintain the board, please refer to General Electric manuals and user guides for more information.
