Product Description

The IS200VPROH1AC is an Emergency Turbine Protection card that is part of General Electric’s Mark VI Speedtronic system for the management and protection of industrial turbines (gas/steam.)   The Mark VI and the IS200VPROH1AC used IONet Ethernet communications.  

The IS200VPROH1AC lives within the protection module of the Mark VI.  It provides an emergency trip function in conjunction with two other circuit boards, the TRPG and TREG boards.   These boards provide the positive and negative trip functions for up to three trip solenoids.  

The IS200VPROH1AC (all VPROH1A cards) is the earlier version of the VPRO circuit board.  This has been superseded by H1B cards that can support a second TREG board from its J4 connector.  

The IS200VPROH1AC has a double-wide front faceplate with multiple components mounted into its surface.  This includes a 3-position power port, a parallel port, an IONet ethernet port, a serial port, and four additional d-shell ports.   The panel also includes multiple LED indicators.  

The IS200VPROH1AC is stacked with one card on top of another.  The top card has a large heat sink component mounted to its surface.  It also has multiple plug connectors, several integrated circuits, resistors, and capacitors.  Both cards are designed with two backplane connectors.   The bottom card has additional components mounted to its surface. Both boards are marked with codes, barcodes, and reference designators.
