Product Description
The IS200VCRCH1ABA is a PCB component created by GE to fit into their Mark VI gas and steam turbine management system. The Mark VI is part of the Speedtronic line, which has been in use since the 1960s. This system includes a central Control Module built with triple redundant backups and a connected Operator Interface that allows users to access system data, alarms, and maintenance software programs from a single Windows-based platform.
The IS200VCRCH1ABA functions as a Discrete Input/Output board. The IS200VCRCH1ABA connects to four terminal boards in order to access twenty-four relay outputs and forty-eight discrete inputs. This single-slot board mounts into the VME I/O rack. It is worth noting the IS200VCRCH1ABA has the same functionality as a VCCC board but takes up less space due to the lack of a daughterboard.
The IS200VCRCH1ABA has two cable connectors mounted into its front faceplate. These are marked J33 and J44. The front faceplate also has three LED components.
The IS200VCRCH1ABA includes two DC power supplies. The board has two backplane connectors (P1/P2) along with several other connectors including the cable connectors previously mentioned. Capacitors, resistors, coil inductor beads, diodes, and integrated circuits take up the remainder of the board surface. Integrated circuits include field programmable gate arrays, static RAM chips, and dual-port SRAM chips. More information about this board may be found through manuals, data sheets, and the Mark VI Turbine Control System Guide. Technical support for the IS200VCRCH1ABA was provided by General Electric.
