Product Description

IS200ISBBG1A--MKVI Insync Bus Bypass Card

The IS200ISBBG1A is a board component manufactured by General Electric as part of its Mark VI system.   The Mark VI was one of the last of the long-running and successful Speedtronic line of gas and steam turbine management systems produced by GE for decades.  

The IS200ISBBG1A is an Insync Bus Bypass Board. The component is small and is typically designed to mount on to DIN rails.  The rails mount via screws to four of the board’s six factory-made drill holes. The holes used are ringed with a conductive material and are labeled E1, E2, E3, and E4.  

The IS200ISBBG1A has four connectors for communicating with off-board components or with other boards.  These include three plug connectors (P1 through P3) and one terminal strip. (P4.) The connectors are labeled P1-Full Duplex, P2-XMIT Data Out, P3-RCV Data In, and P4-24 VDC Input.  The terminal strip has two screw connections.

Other components on the surface of the IS200ISBBG1A include two relays, two rectifier diodes, two LED indicators, one jumper switch, one integrated circuit, and various resistors, diodes, and capacitors.  The jumper position and the result thereof is noted on the board’s surface. The LEDs are yellow (XMIT data) and green (Interlock active.) The integrated circuit is a voltage comparator with a 200ns response time.
