Product Description

The IS200BICHH1A is a component manufactured by GE for the Mark VI system as a Bridge Interface and Control printed circuit board.  The Mark VI system is part of the successful Speedtronic series that GE developed starting in the 1960s with the Mark I.

The  IS200BICHH1A mounts into an Innovation series board rack.  The Innovation series is configured with T M-10 and T M-DC hardware and applications.  These racks have LAN options and Boolean logic instructions that provide permissive diagnostic functions with no additional configuration.    The IS200BICHH1A is built with a narrow front panel that has a plug connector (marked JM) located in its bottom third and a display in its top third.  The display allows for review of LEDs for signal observation. Eighteen LEDs are located on the board.

The  IS200BICHH1A has two backplane connectors.  These are marked P1 and P2. It has twenty-nine TP test points, over forty integrated circuits, and two fuses. The fuses are replaceable 250 V, 200 mA fuses.

The  IS200BICHH1A takes multiplexed phase faults from FOSB boards and demultiplexes the faults.  The IS200BICHH1A classifies faults into two classes. These are bridge faults and BICH board faults.

The  IS200BICHH1A should be treated as a static sensitive board at all times.  The board should be removed from energized equipment before any type of maintenance begins.  An anti-static sleeve will be used by our warehouse team to protect the part during shipment.  Please review and follow all manufacturer safety procedures as they appear in publications like manuals or data sheets.

This BICH board is designed to interface with 24 gate drivers. This is for the NPC, or neutral-point clamped H-bridge. Timers allow two switching events during each gating period. This is for each of the three H-bridges. Nominal gating rate is 1.5 kHz. --AX Control Tech Team.
