Product Description
The IS205IGDPG1A is a board component manufactured by General Electric as part of the Mark VI system. The MKVI, which is part of the Speedtronic line of turbine management, has thirty years of successful gas/steam turbine direction as a base for its design. The MKVI is a total management solution built around a Central Control Module that connects to the wider system through termination cards. These Input/Output cards digitally filter data and convert it to 32-bit IEEE floating point format. Data is transmitted on the VME backplane and can be accessed by the end user by the attached operator interface.
The IS205IGDPG1A has very few components on its surface. The board is a small auxiliary board for an IGDM board. The IS205IGDPG1A installs at ninety degrees to the motherboard and solders to its surface using the pins that extend from its HP1 connector. The board is further supported by screw mounts that connect it to a heat sink component. The screws are threaded through an oval opening located on one side of the board.
Components on the IS205IGDPG1A include a diode, three capacitors, and an inductor. The inductor is an SMT toroidal power inductor with a nominal inductance of 173μH and a nominal DCR of 0.6Ω. The last component on the board is a 3A Step-down voltage regulator/ Simple Switcher power converter. This is a monolithic integrated circuit that is capable of driving a 3A load with load regulation and excellent line. The board is marked with codes like SEC-6-) and FA/00.
