Product Description
The IS205IGDHG1A is a board component for the Mark VI. The MKVI is a gas/steam turbine management system released by General Electric as part of the Speedtronic line, which has been the primary turbine management line of GE for decades.
The IS205IGDHG1A functions as an IGBT Gate Driver Board. This is a subassembly for the IS200PICH board. It provides the majority of the circuitry needed to interface an IGBT module to the control logic. Each PICH board uses eight IGDH subassemblies and their associated isolated power supplies. These connect to the primary board via a 57-pin connector that is used to solder the board into place.
The IS205IGDHG1A accepts and decodes gate ON/OFF and soft shutdown logic level commands at the command input. It also outputs the appropriate IGBT gate signals. This board can create a fault status that will cause the status feedback to turn off and a soft shutdown fault to inhibit the gate drive. This typically happens if the +/-15 V monitor is less than +13.5 to +12.9 V or when the -15 V is greater than -13.5 to -12.9 V. The board also returns a desaturation fault by taking the IGDH FOUT (fault status output) low.
The IS205IGDHG1A is populated by forty-six resistors, thirty-four capacitors, twenty-eight diodes, and ten integrated circuits. Codes like 6BA02, 6BB02, 94V-0, 3802, and TTM-4 are marked on the board surface.
More information about the IS205IGDHG1A board, its components, its motherboard, or how it should be installed may be found by accessing publications released by General Electric such as manuals, user guides, and data sheets.
