Product Description

The IS200VSVAH1A is a PCB component manufactured by GE for the Mark VI system.  This system, which is one of GE’s ‘Speedtronic’ gas and steam turbine management systems, is designed with TMR (triple modular redundant) architecture, which builds in multiple backups in the system on all protection parameters and critical controls.

The  IS200VSVAH1A is built with multiple connectors.  This includes two backplane connectors (P1 and P2,) along with three connectors mounted in the front faceplate (J8, J7, and J5.)  The faceplate also has three LED indicators (green, red, and yellow) to display the board operating status.

The  IS200VSVAH1A is populated by transistors, an inductor coil, TP test points, and ferrite beads for high-frequency noise suppression.  The board has over 900 resistors and over 500 capacitors; many of these components are located on the rear surface of the board. Integrated circuits (over fifty) include a Xilinx XCS40XL field programmable gate array and a  TMS320C32 digital signal processor. The board also has four relays located in a single line parallel to the P2 backplane. The board is marked with several codes, including FA/00 and 75032-1.
