About the IS200VAOCH1B
Hardware Tips and Specifications
The IS200VAOCH1B is mounted in the VME rack. The board receives digital values from the controller over the rack’s backplane. These are converted to analog output currents and sent to the IS200VAOCH1B’s associated terminal board (usually a TBAO or DTAO board.) The output current is measured on this board and then returned to the IS200VAOCH1B for control. It is important to note the IS200VAOCH1B is:
- an early generation (original) board that can only support load resistances up to 500 Ω
- built with multiple connectors, including two backplanes
- designed with conductive dots and traces
- populated with two lines of relays
- sixteen in all
- each relay includes a relay diagram
- built with dozens of integrated circuits
- oscillating chips
- SRAM chips
- FPGAs
- uses capacitors, resistors, and diodes of various size and made of several materials
The front panel of the IS200VAOCH1B is a single slot faceplate. It has three LED components inserted into its surface; these LEDs are labeled run, fail, and status.
