Product Description
The IS200VAOCH1B is an Analog Output PCB created as a component for the Mark VI system. The Mark VI was one of the last gas/steam turbine management systems released by GE as part of their “Speedtronic” line, which had been their premier turbine management line for over three decades. The Mark VI includes diagnostic checking for both hardware and software, time synchronization control options, programmable maintenance tools, and Ethernet communications.
The IS200VAOCH1B is mounted in the VME rack. The board receives digital values from the controller over the rack’s backplane. These are converted to analog output currents and sent to the IS200VAOCH1B’s associated terminal board (usually a TBAO or DTAO board.) The output current is measured on this board and then returned to the IS200VAOCH1B for control. It is important to note the IS200VAOCH1B is an early generation (original) board that can only support load resistances up to 500 Ω. If higher resistance is needed, please refer to our listings for IS200VAOCH1C boards.
The IS200VAOCH1B is built with multiple connectors, including two backplanes. Other connectors on the board are designed with conductive dots and traces. The board is populated with two lines of relays, sixteen in all. Each relay includes a relay diagram. The PCB is built with dozens of integrated circuits; these include oscillating chips, SRAM chips, and FPGAs. The board uses capacitors, resistors, and diodes of various size and made of several materials.
The front panel of the IS200VAOCH1B is a single slot faceplate. It has three LED components inserted into its surface. The LEDs are labeled run, fail, and status.
