The IS200TPROH2CBB circuit board from General Electric is part of the company’s Mark VI turbine control system. The Mark VI was one of GE’s final Speedtronic systems and offered distributed control for turbine systems of various size. The IS200TPROH2CBB printed circuit board, or PCB, functions within this system as a protective termination card. The IS200TPROH2CBB is built upon a metal carrier that extends protectively above three of the board’s edges. These metal edges are designed with factory drilled holes and gaps. The board without a metal covering is populated by two large terminal strips. The board itself is screw mounted to the metal carrier at each board corner.
The IS200TPROH2CBB is populated by a number of different components including six vertical d-shell connectors. These are lined up together on one side of the board. Other board components include a third terminal strip, two relays, two MOVs (metal oxide varistors), and several integrated circuits. The board also has multiple resistors, capacitors, and other components. Boards like the IS200TPROH2CBB often have components on both sides of the printed circuit board.
