Product Description
The IS200TBCIS3CBD board is part of the Mark VI turbine control system from General Electric. The Mark VI, like earlier Speedtronic systems, offered triple modular redundant control with three individual “voting” control modules. Mark VI control systems could be used in either simplex or TMR form using racks of input/output cards placed in 9 to 21 slot VME racks.
The IS200TBCIS3CBD functions within the Mark VI system as an I/O interface termination board. This board is built with barrier-type termination blocks. These blocks can be unplugged for field maintenance when needed and can be used for either TMR or Simplex systems. The IS200TBCIS3CBD board uses 3.0 mm #12 AWG wires that have 300 V insulation. This board is a kind of Discrete I/O, and is one of five versions of discrete I/O available for the Mark VI system.
The IS200TBCIS3CBD is rated at 70-145 VDC. It has optical isolation with 1 ms SOE. The board is built upon a metal carrier. It includes multiple vertical plugs, two-terminal strips located along one edge, and a line of variable resistors. The board is marked with a number of codes that will assist with placing and wiring the board. Detailed information regarding installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting can be sourced from original documentation like manuals, data sheets, and user guides.
