Product Description

The IS200JGNDG1A model is a Shield Ground Board used in the Mark VI system. General Electric describes the JGND model as a Shield Ground Board; this board supplies ground connections for the user's shield drain wires. The JGND board will be grounded to the sheet metal bracket through two screws at each end of the terminal model; the shield wires provided by the user will connect to the Euro-type terminal block. The Euro-type terminal block is equipped with twenty-four terminals. When using the IS200JGNDG1A in the Mark VI system and attached to the terminal board's mounting bracket, up to two JGND models can be used, which will provide up to forty-eight ground connections. 

As the IS200JGNDG1A board is mounted to a sheet metal bracket, it can be used to provide a path to the sheet metal ground at the board's mounting screw locations. The JGND board requires a nylon washer between the sheet metal and the board; the washer helps isolate the JGND board from the sheet metal to allow wiring of the board ground current into any of the desired ground locations. If the nylon washer is removed, it will authorize the conduction of any of the available ground currents into the sheet metal and will not require additional ground leads.
