Product Description

The IS200EISBH1AAA is a printed circuit board created by General Electric as part of their Mark VI gas/steam turbine control system.  The Mark VI is one of several Speedtronic systems designed and released by General Electric from the 1960s onward.  The Mark VI uses 13- or 21-slot VME card racks for control, protection, and monitoring.    The IS200EISBH1AAA is part of the EX2100 Excitation control subset of the Mark VI. 

The IS200EISBH1AAA functions as an Exciter ISBus circuit board.  The board acts as a communication interface circuit card between the M1 and M2/C controllers.   It is designed to provide communication for each DSPX board located in M1, M2 and C.   The IS200EISBH1AAA is a single slotted 3U high board.  The board uses its backplane connectors to receive and transmit feedback signals. 

The IS200EISBH1AAA has a front faceplate with several integrated components.  It is marked top and bottom with the GE logo and with the board id number.   It has an opening to allow users to access a reset switch mounted to the board’s surface.   It also has an opening populated by six fiber-optic connectors.  

The IS200EISBH1AAA has one backplane connector.  Factory-drilled holes have been made in each board corner.   Other components include two transformers, a relay, a transistor, as well as resistors, integrated circuits, and capacitors.
