Product Description

The IS200EDISG1A is a module component used within the EX2100 Thyristor control, which integrates with the Mark VI and Mark VIe, as well as other DCS systems using Ethernet Modbus communication protocols. 

The IS200EDISG1A is a single module within the EX2100 system.  It functions to interface customer ac or dc control power supplies to control system hardware and accepts 125VDC power source from several places, including the station battery and up to two 115 or 220VAC 50/60HZ supplies.  These are delivered through a pluggable screw-connected terminal board. AC power is rectified using a DACA board.  The resulting power is then fed to controllers, bridge interface boards, and I/O boards. 

The IS200EDISG1A is one of several boards interconnected with the main processor card using high-speed serial link (HSSL) communication.  Other boards that also use this protocol include the EAUX, EAUD, EDEX, and ECTX boards. 

The IS200EDISG1A is used in both simplex and redundant applications for auxiliary functions.  This includes Ethernet switches and VersaMax I/O.
