Product Description

The IS200DTTCH1ABB model is a Simplex DIN-Rail Mounted Thermocouple Terminal Board was designed with twelve thermocouple inputs that will connect to the VTCC thermocouple processor board through a singular thirty-seven-pin cable connector. If two DTTC boards are being used then they will connect to the VTCC and a total of twenty-four inputs will be used. If more than one board is being used then there is the possibility for the boards to be stacked vertically on the DIN rail to save cabinet space.

The IS200DTTCH1ABB model is typically used for temperature monitoring general purpose I/Os. Characteristics of the DTTC board are the input types. The input types for the DTTC board are either grounded or ungrounded E, T, K, and J inputs. The thermocouples of this device are wired directly to the terminal block. There is a Euro Block type terminal block with forty-two terminals, the Euro Block terminal is permanently mounted on the DTTC board.

As mentioned above the IS200DTTCH1ABB model is used for temperature monitoring inputs and outputs, there are three other terminal boards that can be used alongside the DTTC model. The three termination boards that can be used are the DTAI, TBTC, and TRTD boards. The TBTC board is the barrier termination board to the DTTC termination box.

The DTTC model will primarily be used with a standard control module but it can be used with a Backup Protection Module. When using the DTTC module with the backup protection module up to nine extra thermocouples can be monitored. For more information regarding how the DTTC module can be used with more temperature monitoring I/Os refer to the GER-4193A Mark VI Turbine Control System or the GEH-6421C Mark VI System Guide.

As a temperature monitoring termination box with a DIN-rail mounting capability, this module can be used with grounded or ungrounded I/O types. Typically there need to be two of these models to perform a termination function in the Mark VI Series. - AX Control Tech Team
