Product Description
The IS200BAIAH1BCB is a Bridge Application Interface Board (BAIA) made by General Electric.
The IS200BAIAH1BCB is meant to be a replacement printed circuit board. This board contains preloaded firmware that is stored on a factory-installed EEPROM. This EEPROM shouldn’t be removed or reprogrammed and if it becomes damaged the entire board will need to be replaced. There is an RS-232C I/O interface that leads from the DSPX board to the keypad and PC for the drive.
The IS200BAIAH1BCB typically slides into a control rack and is positioned vertically. This board should always be installed into the correct slot because the slots are typically configured for specific boards. Installing the board into an incorrect slot will damage it. There is a label on the faceplate that instructs the user to only install this board into Slot 1. Also, on the faceplate for this board is an LED indicator light labeled IMOK. There are also two ejector tabs and two mounting screws that will aid the user in installing and removing the board from the rack.
The IS200BAIAH1BCB has many components. It has over 50 integrated circuits, 3 relays, 6 transistors, an inductor, 6 diodes, 5 jumpers, a JTAG connector, and two transformers. There are over a hundred capacitors and resistors on this card. There are a total of two connectors that slide into card slots that are located on the control rack assembly.
For more information about installing the IS200BAIAH1BCB, please read datasheet: GEI-100268A that was initially produced by General Electric.
