Series FlexPak 3000
Part Number 30FN4042
HP 30 HP
Input Voltage 460 VAC
Hz 50/60Hz

Product Description

30FN4032 is a 30 horsepower non-regenerative drive manufactured by Reliance Electric as a part of their FlexPak 3000 series.

Conversion kit 916FK0100 can transform this 460 VAC drive into a 230 VAC drive. The horsepower would be reduced to 15 HP after conversion with this kit. The software version number is 4 and the drive is UL listed.

The motor horsepower rating must match that of the drive in order to effectively install the motor in the drive. The motor comes with its own installation instructions. Coupled applications must be aligned properly with the driven machine. Belted applications must have proper sheave/belt alignment to minimize unnecessary motor loading. Install a protective guard around all exposed rotating parts if the motor is accessible while it is running. The drive must be wired to the motor next. 1000 feet is the maximum recommended drive-to-motor wire length. The drive is designed for A-C power entry and D-C power exiting at the top and control and signal wiring to enter from the bottom. Reference signal wiring should be run in a separate conduit isolated from all A-C and D-C power and control. For reference signals, use AWG No. 16, 600 VAC rated, stranded copper wiring that has polyvinyl chloride insulation with a temperature range of 104-221° F. Do not run signal wires parallel with high voltage or electrically-noisy conductors; these must cross at 90°. Tachometer feedback and other signal wiring should be run in a separate conduit isolated from all A-C and D-C power and logic control. In order to reduce electrical noise when mounting with external contacts and solenoids, coils should be suppressed.  Refer to Reliance manuals and user guides for additional details.
