Product Description
The 9106-0083 has the alternate part number BSA-30X. It is a 30-amp Electro-Craft Brushless Servo Amplifier Drive. It was initially designed by Reliance Electric although it may have also been sold by Asea Brown Boveri or Baldor Reliance.
The 9106-0083 is 120 VAC and has an input of 50/60 Hz and is single phase. It has an output of 0-400 Hz. This amplifier is meant to be paired with an Electro-Craft S, F, or LD series motor. The suggested motors that can be paired with it are the LD 4030, S-4030-M, S-4050, S-4075, F-4075, and F-4050. It has a preinstalled heatsink and air vents that are used to help keep its internal components cool. This model is the only one available with the added heatsink.
The 9106-0083 has three RS-232 connections (two males and one female). The two male connections are labeled P2 Encoder Out and P3 Encoder In. The female connection is labeled P1 Controller. Next to these connections is an orange set of pin connections. Just above that is an unlabeled terminal strip. Just above the RS-232 connections are nine wire connections. These are labeled COM, MVO, MCO, l LIMIT, l FLDBK, COMP, TACH, VCS, and Offset. Just above that are 4 LED indicators that will glow when there are different faults detected within the amplifier. There is a chart on the right side of the 9106-0083 that details the LED indicator glow pattern. Above the LEDs is another terminal strip that is labeled GND, T, S, R, GND, L2, and L1. The terminals are separated into two groups that are labeled Power and Motor.
