About the S-25024
Hardware Tips and Specifications
The S-25024 is an SVT 1 card manufactured by Reliance Electric. The front of this drive has a red LED light at the top that illuminates when the card is operation. Hence the light is labeled OPERATION. The front also features:
- five variable resistors
- each variable resistor has the markings zero through ten around it
- each variable resistor controls a different thing
- variable resistors are labeled as follows from top to bottom:
- #1 L. RATE
- #2 L. RATE
- + CORNER RATE
- - CORNER RATE
- S. D. GAIN
The connected circuit board has a sixth variable resistor near the front panel. There are nineteen transistors that are split between black and silver colors. The SVT 1 card is controlled using the seven small integrated circuits, that tell it what to do and when to do it. There are sixteen small blue radial capacitors, a small gray polypropylene capacitor, and two huge gray polypropylene capacitors. The S-25024 has over twenty tiny diodes, and about fifty resistors.
Every single piece is numbered in accordance with the type of piece it is and marked with a letter telling the engineer that it is a diode, resistor, capacitor, integrated circuit, etc. The S-25024 will also only operate when placed into a power rack and secured with the anchors on the front panel. To learn more about the S-25024 you can refer to the many data sheets and user manuals published by Reliance Electric.
