About the 813.42.01
The Reliance Electric drive board designated by id number 813.42.01 is part of the FlexPak 3000 series. This board is a replacement part that correlates with 250A or 450A Power units (types 848.06.03/73 and 848.08.03/73 respectively.) The unit is used in conjunction with three thyristors or thyristor modules, a field rectifier (124.07.00) a MOV unit (123.39.30) a Regulator, a power supply, a field current regulator, and a cooling fan. It can also be used with a 800A Power unit that requires six thyristors.
FlexPak 3000 series power modules are designed to be three-phase units. These DC drive systems offer configurable drive applications that allow a number of wiring and panel options.
Thyristor modules, of which this board correlates with, have specific replacement guidelines. The OEM recommends using original spare parts only. Your old thyristor unit should be removed by removing bus bars above the thyristor and removing the gate leads before unscrewing the thyristor or module. Any new module should be coated with a thin layer of heat-conducting paste on the side that will lay closest to the heat sink before remounting.
