613613-650R Fiber Optic Cable Reliance Electric
The 613613-650R is a Reliance Electric Fiber-Optic cable. This cable is typically used with the Universal Drive Controller Module EM. Data transfer across this cable is Manchester-encoded and has a transmission rate of 10 Mbps. This allows real-time information to transfer between the units, including control, configuration, and operation information, as well as feedback and status information from the PMI to the UDC.
The 613613-650R is used to connect the UDC to the PMI. These cables typically have orange and blue splits at their ends. The blue fiber-optic splits should be connected to the UDC module XMT port and to the PMI RCV port. The orange splits should be connected to the UDC module RCV port and the PMI XMT port. The connector’s pins should be aligned with the slot in the port, pushed onto the port, then turned clockwise until it locks to the port’s pins.
