The 48680-216 is a Maps Power Supply replacement board for a 575 VAC GP-2000 variable speed drive. This is only one version of the power supply replacement board available for GP-2000 drives, so please be sure you are ordering the correct board for your system. Some Reliance board or components may have originally shipped under company names Baldor-Reliance or Asea Brown Boveri; typically these company names do not affect compatibility.
The power supply board is designed to provide control power and an interface for high-voltage feedback. It has a high-frequency multi winding transformer as well as a switching regulator on board.
The 48680-216 is built with two heat sinks to aid with heat dissipation. Additionally, it has multiple vertical pin connectors for connections to other components. The board has multiple capacitor banks, as well as resistors and diodes. Multiple color-coded surface wires are located near the center of the board.
The 48680-216 is built with four standoffs to allow for the addition of a secondary board component to be mounted above it.
