The 0-60021-1 is a PMI processor module designed to be fitted into a Reliance Automax PMI Rack. While these units are no longer available through the original equipment manufacturer since they have been discontinued, they are typically available here through AX Control, Inc. This module typically slides into a PMI rack along with a power supply module and a Resolver and Drive I/O module, along with an AC Power module.
The 0-60021-1 weighs approximately 1.10 pounds before packing and is fronted by an attached faceplate. The module is fitted at the top and bottom with set screws that will lock the unit into place after it has been installed. The front faceplate includes multiple ports including meter ports, two comm links, and two rail ports. The front of the unit also has five LED indicators marked (from top to bottom) OK, COMM OK, PM Flt, EXT Flt, and Rail Flt.
It is important to note that AutoMax software is designed to make sure modules are added correctly and in the correct order. If you choose to add a second processor module to your system, the software will not allow this to occur until after a common memory module (M/n 57C413 or 57C423) has been previously installed.
