0-54200-3 High-Speed Driver

The 0-54200-3 is a circuit board component fabricated by Reliance Electric.  This board component is typically used within Reliance drive systems.

The 0-54200-3 functions as a High-Speed Driver board.  This board does not have a front faceplate; instead, it is fitted with two extractor clips along its front edge that give technicians a place to grasp the PCB during insertion into a rack, and a lever point to pull the board out of its place within the rack system when maintenance or replacement is needed.  The clips are inserted into drilled holes in the corners of the board. Other drill points are located on the other two corners of the board.

The 0-54200-3  is populated by over eighty integrated circuits, including eproms.  The board has two right-angled cable connectors. Capacitors are typically made from ceramic material.  Resistors on the board are usually carbon composite, but there are some metal film resistors used as well.  The board has several resistor network arrays. It has over a dozen transistors; the majority of these are located in a single line near the top board edge.   Surface wiring is used in multiple board locations. Most components are marked with some sort of reference designator, and some parts are marked with their manufacturer’s part number.
