The 0-54122-6 circuit board is a Reliance Electric (and sometimes an Asea Brown Boveri/ABB or Baldor Reliance) component. This board is designed to fit into Reliance Electric drive systems and to function as part of a rack system. This unit is no longer available from the OEM but is typically available through AX Control’s on-hand stock. If your part is marked something other than Reliance, please check your original paperwork to ensure compatibility before ordering.
The 0-54122-6 is used as a DC Drive control board. The unit includes a backplane connector to allow it to plug directly into a system and communicate easily with other boards within its rack. This connector is located on one short board edge. On the opposite board edge, the board is fronted by a narrow front faceplate that includes extruding connectors for I/O interfacing, along with two set screws to help the board remain in place once it is seated into a rack system. Each of these I/O connectors wires into the board surface on the backside of the faceplate using wired connections.
The board is marked with a grid pattern. Above this, there are several components mounted to the board’s surface including relays, varistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits. These do not carry any sort of reference designator but may have part numbers printed on their surface.
