0-52860-2  Inverter Analog Board VSAC

The 0-52860-2 is a Reliance board component used within the company’s various drive systems.  Some of Reliance’s components may be noted as coming from Baldor-Reliance or from ABB/Asea Brown Boveri subject to the year of the component’s manufacture.

The  0-52860-2 functions as an Inverter Analog Board.  It is built with a narrow front faceplate populated with eight rotary dials.  Each of these dials can be set anywhere from zero to ten. These are labeled as Max Hz, Min Hz, Jog, V/Hz, Bst, Accl, Decl, and Stab.   The front faceplate is also marked with the component number (board number) and with the manufacturer’s logo.

The  0-52860-2  is populated by eight potentiometers.  Each of these connects to one of the rotary dials on the front faceplate.  The potentiometers are located in a single line along the front edge of the PCB directly behind the faceplate.   The board has nine integrated circuits, eight transistors, resistors made of carbon composite material and metal film, polyester vinyl axial capacitors, ceramic disk capacitors, and other types of capacitors, as well as TP test points, diodes, and several instances of surface wiring.    The back edge of the PCB extends in a type of tail. This is covered in conductive tabs and acts as a backplane connector.
