About the 0-52845-1
0-52845-1 PCIB Control Board
The 0-52845-1 is a Reliance Electric PCB fabricated by the company to fit into its various drive systems. In some cases, this circuit board may be marked with manufacturer marks from Asea Brown Boveri/ABB or from Baldor-Reliance. This will depend on the year of the board’s manufacture. The part will always reflect the 52845-1 number.
The 0-52845-1 is a Control Board. It has a narrow silver faceplate that has no components in its surface; instead, it is designed with two set screws that lock the board into place within the rack system.
The 0-52845-1 is made up of two circuit boards. This includes the motherboard (0-52845-1) and an auxiliary board (0-55322-1.) The motherboard is populated on its front edge by seven large polyester vinyl capacitors. The rest of the board has additional capacitors made from materials like ceramic and aluminum electrolytic. The board has metal film resistors and diodes and has multiple surface wired connections along its rear edge. The back edge of the board extends into a backplane. This extension is covered in conductive tabs.
The auxiliary board (0-55322-1) attached to the 0-52845-1 motherboard is populated by thirteen integrated circuits, two disk capacitors, as well as multiple diodes, metal film resistors, and capacitors made from other materials. The board is held in place to the motherboard via four screw connections. It is wired into the primary board using surface wire connections along its rear edge. Both boards are marked on their surface by a grid pattern.
If more detailed information is needed about the board’s installation procedures or about its operation, please refer to Reliance Electric data sheets, manuals, or user guides. These publications were provided by Reliance as ongoing technical support. Reliance Electric provided all technical support for the 0-52845-1 circuit board.
