0-52840-228 CCC Board
The 0-52840-228 is a CCC circuit board component fabricated by Reliance Electric for use within the company’s drives. In most cases this board is manufactured by Reliance; however, it can also originate from Baldor-Reliance or from Asea Brown Boveri. The 52840-228 designator will always appear in the part id.
The board portion of the 0-52840-228 is a rectangular shaped field with an extruding tail that acts as a conductive backplane. Much of the card is taken up by brass pin components. Some of these are marked with designators (numbers or terms like jog function and feed permissive,) but others carry no reference designator. The board also has surface wiring, ceramic capacitors, disk capacitors, polyester vinyl capacitors, metal film resistors, diodes, and eight potentiometers. The potentiometers are located along the front board edge in a single line. These connect to eight dials that populate the front faceplate.
The other part of the 0-52840-228 is the faceplate component. It attaches to the circuit board using three screws. The faceplate has no other components other than the previously mentioned dials. Seven of these dials can be set on a scale from zero to ten while the last component is designed on a +/- scale.
