0-52808-2 OLVC Module

The 0-52808-2 is a component manufactured by Reliance Electric.  This is a faceplate and PCB board component combination that is typically used within Reliance drive systems.  In some cases, the 0-52808-2 may carry markings from Baldor-Reliance or from ABB as well as/instead of Reliance.  This is due to changes in the company structure. The 52808-2 number should remain within the part id.

The faceplate component of the 0-52808-2 includes five LED indicators. These are split by a red reset button as a bank of three and a bank of two.  The three LEDs, located toward the top of the faceplate, are labeled ARM VOLT COMPARATOR, PHASE SEQ, and FIELD SUPPLY.   The other two LED indicators, located toward the bottom of the faceplate, are labeled OVERLOAD FAULT and IET FAULT. The faceplate includes two set screws to lock the module within the rack system after installation.   All LEDs and the pushbutton are wired into the front of the circuit board.

The 0-52808-2 is a component-dense board.  It has seven polyester vinyl capacitors, along with capacitors made from ceramic material and electrolytic material.  The board has over seventy-five metal film resistors of varying size and resistance. The board has transistors, TP test points, and over a dozen integrated circuits.    The board includes a conductive backplane connector.
