The 0-51899-1 is a Control Module Extender Card. This type of card allows testing on another board to occur without the need to remove it from the rack system. This prevents any chance of damage occurring during extraction or re-insertion of these boards. Conductive tabs are located on an extending part of the back edge, which serves as a backplane. The front of the board is designed with two extending arms. The rest of the board consists of conductive traces and pin connectors, with no other components located on the board surface.
