About the 0-51893-1
0-51893-1 Field Regulator Controller Board FCCB
The 0-51893-1 is a Reliance Electric PCB (printed circuit board) with faceplate manufactured for use within Reliance drive systems.
The 0-51893-1 functions as a Field Regulator Controller Board. This is a complicated multi-board component. The attached wide faceplate has a bank of screw connections with attached wires running down its center. These have a front cover over their surface connected by two screws. The connections are labeled from top to bottom as 181/null/182/null/1831/471/null/451/null/F1/135/235/null (null being no label at that screw connection.) There is a round opening to the right of the screw bank to allow the wired connections through the faceplate to the surface of the circuit board. The faceplate also has two indicators labeled “Max. Arm. Volts” and “Stab.”
The circuit board components of the 0-51893-1 are mounted facing each other, with all components inward. One board is marked 0-48541-2. This board is populated by a transformer (TR-12143) with multiple surface wires. The board has additional surface wire connections. It has wire wound resistors, carbon composite, and metal film resistors. The board has several transistors. It also has two potentiometers that line up with the indicators on the front faceplate. This is the bottom board. The top board is populated by transistors, surface wiring, polyester vinyl, and aluminum electrolytic capacitors, as well as disk capacitors. This board connects to a metal housing on the end opposite the faceplate, which then connects to a third circuit board with an additional transformer and an auxiliary board that is mounted at a ninety-degree angle. This board has several transistors, capacitors, transistors, and integrated circuits on its surface.
