0-51865-21 CLDY Current Loop Drive board
The 0-51865-21 is a Reliance Electric component. This board and faceplate is most often used within Reliance drive systems and is marked with a Reliance logo. However, in some rare cases, this and other boards in this series may carry a logo from either ABB or from Baldor-Reliance. This board will have the 51865-21 number within its part ID regardless of the manufacturer noted.
The 0-51865-21 functions within drives as a Current Loop Drive card. The attached narrow faceplate has two small rotary dials. These attach to potentiometers located on the circuit board. The dials are labeled rate and gain. The faceplate also has one red LED indicator labeled gain limit. The faceplate includes two set screws that allow technicians to lock the module into place once it has been inserted into a rack system.
The 0-51865-21 is composed of a primary motherboard and an additional auxiliary board that has been mounted in the center of the motherboard using standoffs and screws. The auxiliary is mounted with components facing the surface of the motherboard.
The primary board of the 0-51865-21 is populated by over fifteen integrated circuits, along with over a dozen transistors.
