About the 0-51865
0-51865 Current Loop Module
The 0-51865 is a Reliance Electric board component designed for use within the company’s various drive systems. The board you are currently replacing may be marked as being manufactured by a different company, such as Baldor-Reliance or ABB/Asea Brown Boveri. Your manual or user guide should specify the same or similar part number.
The 0-51865 functions as a Current Loop Module. It has a silver-colored faceplate attached to the circuit board by three screw connections. The faceplate is populated by two rotary dials. These can be adjusted from zero to ten, and are labeled current rate and current gain. The faceplate is also marked with the part number and includes two screws to lock the component into place within the rack system.
The 0-51865 is populated by two potentiometers. These connect to the rotary dials located on the front faceplate. The board also has carbon composite resistors, metal film resistors, transistors, integrated circuits, ceramic disk capacitors, and capacitors made from other materials. Some capacitors are secondarily supported by board ties. The board has a board rack surrounding the board surface (two metal uprights with two side pieces and a cross brace) that is designed to support auxiliary boards installed at 90-degree angles. However, no auxiliary boards are installed to the board. The motherboard has several lines of pins located on the back portion of the board to allow for auxiliary boards to be installed at a later time if needed.
More information regarding the installation and operation of the 0-51865 may be accessed through publications from Reliance Electric. This includes data sheets, manuals, and user guides.
