Product Description

The 0-51831 is a CVTA board from Reliance Electric.  This is one of several Current Voltage boards available from Reliance.  While this product is no longer available through the original equipment manufacturer, it can be found in the products available here at AX Control. 

The 0-51831 is designed to work within Reliance power systems and to function as a magnetic amplifier for reactive power compensation.    This board is designed with a connected front faceplate that attaches to the circuit board with four screw connections.   The faceplate includes the board’s part number.  The terminal strip attached to the front faceplate connects to the circuit board via a series of wired connections that terminate at a series of vertical pins; each pin is individually labeled.   Other board components include an extruding rear connector that allows the board to communicate once it is fitted into a card slot, three transformers in frames, two potentiometers, capacitors, resistors, transistors, and diodes.  The board also has several variable resistors on its surface besides the potentiometers. 

The surface of the circuit board is marked with a grid pattern that is lettered and numbered along two edges to allow for location identification of components.  The board is also marked with the board’s ID number and with the Reliance logo.
