About the DC1-21
The DC1-21 is a voltage controller that belongs to the DC1 Drive family manufactured by Reliance Electric. Within the Reliance DC1 Drive system, the DC1-21 voltage controller converts the single-phase line power (AC) into DC power. This DC output is adjustable and specifically for an adjustable speed armature control of shunt wound. It is also compatible with all permanent DC motors with similar horsepower ratings. It has a rated horsepower of 0.25 to 2-HP. It requires an AC Input ranging from 115 to 230-Volt AC with a maximum of 12.5-amps. The DC1-21 has:
- a rated power frequency of 50/60-hertz
- a DC output of 90/180-Volts when operating with a maximum of 10-amps
- a DC field voltage rated at 50/100-Volts at a maximum of 2-amps
- an open chassis configuration
